A stampede occurred at a popular market in Seoul, South Korea's capital city. Reports say around 1 lakh people gathered at this location to celebrate the festival. This large crowd clogged the area's narrow streets, causing the stampede. This stampede killed 151 people and injured 100 more (such sad news!). Among those killed were 19 foreigners.

The people wanted to have a good time, but this incident ruined their plans. The entire country and the world were shocked by this incident. People and world leaders have offered their condolences.
