<h5>Records are meant to be broken!</h5><p>The Indian Premier League (IPL) is ongoing, and fans are cheering for their favourite teams. Every team is giving their best to win the IPL trophy.</p><p>This season, new records are being made. We just wrote about how <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/ipl-2024-top-score-record-broken">Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) broke the record</a> for the “highest team score in an innings” in the IPL.</p><p>To everyone's surprise, this record was broken in just a few days!!</p><h5>Who broke the record!?</h5><figure class="image"><img src="https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/newsahoot.appspot.com/o/ipl-2024-new-records-being-broken%2FSRH%202.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=5dc58010-d5d9-4571-a328-19599526c891"><figcaption>Glimpses from SRH’s match. It also became the second-highest score in T-20 cricket history!</p><p>The top three team totals in IPL history have been created by SRH (1st and 2nd) and the Kolkata Knight Riders. MI's Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets against RCB. Bowlers can bowl only four overs in T-20 cricket. Getting five wickets in four overs is incredible!</p><p>The race for the purple cap is getting competitive as bowlers are trying to get the top spot on the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.iplt20.com/stats/2024">list</a>.
