Who held the top score record?
In 2013, in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) played against the Pune Warriors India (PWI). RCB scored 263 runs. This was the IPL's highest team total in an innings ever.
Since then, the IPL has changed a lot. New teams joined, but some old ones left, such as PWI. But the record remained untouched until it was broken a few days ago.
Who broke this record?

RCB's top score was surpassed twice in the last ten days! First, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) scored 277 runs against the Mumbai Indians (MI).
Later, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) scored 272 runs against the Delhi Capitals (DC). These two scores are now ranked first and second in the highest team score in IPL history.
RCB’s score is now placed third.
Are 300 runs achievable?
Scoring 300 runs in a T-20 match sounds difficult. To do so requires excellent batting from all players, hitting boundaries without getting out.
But Nepal created history by scoring 314 runs versus Mongolia at the 2023 Asian Games, the highest total score ever in men's T-20 cricket.
With new talent emerging, this record may also be broken in the future.
