Yes - a record that was held intact for around 11 years has been beaten twice this IPL season!</p><p>Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) recently scored 277 runs while batting first against Mumbai Indians (MI). The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) stepped up a few days later to showcase their batting prowess and scored 272 runs against the Delhi Capitals (DC).</p><p>These two scores now hold the top two positions for the highest team score in IPL history, pushing RCB's score to third place. Still, achieving such runs in T-20 cricket is no mean feat and requires lots of skills and teamwork.</p><h5>Are 300 runs achievable?</h5><p>Many might say that if a team can score 277 runs in 20 overs, another team can aim for 300 runs. But scoring 300 runs in T20 cricket is incredibly difficult.</p><p>To achieve this, a team must show outstanding batting performance. All their batsmen must be in their top form, consistently hitting boundaries without losing many wickets.</p><p>Sounds difficult, right? But you will be surprised to know that Nepal scored 314 runs against Mongolia at the Asian Games 2023, the highest score in men’s T-20 cricket history.</p><p>It was also the first time a 300-run total had been achieved in T-20 men's cricket. However, with the rise of new talent, this record might also be broken in the future.</p>
