What is the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre?

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) is a new cultural centre that opened in Mumbai. It is the country's first multi-disciplinary cultural centre, featuring music, theatre, fine arts, and crafts.

The NMACC is located within Mumbai's Jio Global Centre. The centre will display the best of Indian and international art.

An amazing launch event was held before the centre's opening on 31st March. Several well-known artists performed at the event, which was attended by numerous Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities.

The centre has three performing arts venues - the 2,000-seat Grand Theatre, the 250-seat Studio Theatre, and the Cube. The Grand Theatre includes a unique seating arrangement and modern lighting, as well as a powerful Surround Sound System and a Virtual Acoustic System.

The Studio Theatre is meant for smaller or private events. It has a seating system that can be changed to fit the occasion. For example, the chairs can be placed to face the stage for a musical performance or in a circular pattern for a more intimate gathering.

The Cube can fit up to 125 guests and is meant for smaller, more engaging performances where the performers interact with the audience.

The NMACC also includes the Art House. It will feature exhibits and installations by talented artists from India and the world.
