Where will the park be opened?
A waste-to-art dinosaur park will soon be opened in Delhi. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) says this cool dinosaur park is being built in Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi. It will open in January 2024.
The park will have big dinosaur models made from scrap metal, used tyres, and car parts. Inside, there will be cool dinosaur creations, and a giant dinosaur will even be a slide for kids to enjoy.

What more do we know about this park?
The upcoming park will feature life-sized dinosaur replicas that move realistically and make sounds like roars and growls. The park aims to recreate scenes from the Jurassic Park film using light and sound effects.
Various dinosaur species will be on display. The park will have a big replica of the Tyrannosaurus rex from ‘Jurassic Park’ that can spit fire and flicker its eyes. Recent reports mention that the park is 80% complete. The park's surroundings will be made even better by planting trees, shrubs, and grass.
Are there similar parks in Delhi?
The city has three parks created by MCD, all with a waste-to-art theme. They used a lot of scrap metal to make cool sculptures in these parks. One is called Waste to Wonder Park, where one can see models of the Seven Wonders of the World.
There's also Bharat Darshan Park, which has copies of famous Indian monuments, and Shaheedi Park, where one can learn about Indian history and the freedom struggle.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) made a park too, with a G-20 summit theme. They used scrap metal to create sculptures of birds and animals from G20 countries.
