<h5>Where will the park be opened?</h5><p>A waste-to-art dinosaur park will soon be opened in Delhi. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) says the park is being built in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan and will open in January 2024. This park will have many massive dinosaur replicas. They are all of various heights and lengths.</p><p>Reports say these replicas are made of scrap metal, discarded tyres, car parts, etc. Inside the park, people will find various fantastic dinosaur creations, and a huge dinosaur will also serve as a slide for children.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/newsahoot.appspot.com/o/waste-to-art-dinosaur-park-to-open-soon%2FDinosaur-installation.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=dc824548-9040-4f9d-8c2c-8613e1698bb9"><figcaption>A dinosaur at the park. Video by Jurassic World.</figcaption></figure></div><p>The life-sized dinosaur replicas will move realistically. They can also release dinosaur sounds such as roars, growls, etc., and even fire. Using light and sound effects, the park will replicate classic scenes from the Jurassic Park film.</p><p>There will be various dinosaur species on display at the park, like the Brontosaurus, Velociraptor, Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, etc. There will also be a huge replica of the Tyrannosaurus rex from ‘Jurassic Park’. It will be able to spit fire and flicker its eyes.</p><p>Reports say the park is 80% complete. Around 300 tonnes (3,00,000 kgs) of waste materials have been used for building. The landscape of the park will be improved further via selective planting of trees, shrubs, grass, etc.</p><h5>Are there similar parks in Delhi?</h5><p>MCD has created three parks throughout the city based on the waste-to-art theme. Vast amounts of metallic scrap have been used in all the parks to create various sculptures. One is the Waste to Wonder Park, which displays replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World.</p><p>Another is Bharat Darshan Park, which features replicas of renowned Indian monuments, and the third is Shaheedi Park, which features galleries related to the Indian freedom struggle and history.</p><p>The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) also opened a waste-to-art park with a theme based on the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/g20-summit-2023-held-in-delhi">G-20 summit</a>.
